About Dr. Sanjay Shankar, MD
Sanjay Shankar, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with Heart One Associates serving patients at their offices in Phoenix, Peoria, and Buckeye, Arizona. He specializes in coronary artery catheterizations, complex cardiac procedures, and heart failure management. Dr. Shankar also focuses on the treatment and prevention of heart disease with a special interest in medical oncology. Dr. Shankar completed his medical residency and fellowship training in cardiology and interventional cardiology from the University of Pittsburgh (UPMC). Dr. Shankar also has a master's degree in medical management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is board certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology.
