This was my first visit to Doctor Maki's office though I had dealings with him when I was in the hospital. The staff was very friendly (like a breath of fresh air). I enjoyed my time with Peter as he was very engaging and very much interested with my health. 2022 - Dr Maki has been my mother's cardiologist for many, many years. Mom is now 92 years old and is home bound. Dr Maki has been so wonderful and extremely accommodating! He has sent monitoring equipment to us at home, and has allowed us to schedule telehealth appointments with him for my mother. Mom has had heart issues for a while, and Dr Maki has been able to test and assess and ask all the right questions. He has prescribed the right medications in the right amounts to keep Mom's heart and blood pressure in check. And he is just so good with her! He takes the time to listen to her (and us) and treats mom like she is his only patient. He genuinely cares for his patients and it really shows. I would recommend Dr Maki to my family and closest friends, and I surely recommend him to anyone needing care from a cardiologist. He has been a huge blessing and is a big reason mom is still with us! 2024 - UPDATE: Mom has passed away, but she lived a wonderful, full life. When she was first admitted to the hospital, we called Dr Maki to let him know Mom would be going into home hospice care the following afternoon, and to thank him for all he did for her. And wouldn't you know it, Dr Maki showed up at the hospital the next morning before we took Mom home. He spent a little time with her and left her with such a joyous look on her face. That's who Dr Maki is. He's a great doctor and a wonderful, wonderful man.

Dr. Maki / staff were very helpful. The best cardiologist I have been to. Dr. Maki called me back personally with testing results. Can't remember when a doctor has taken the time to do this! Highly recommend Dr. Peter Maki.
