Cardiovascular - Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center

I am highly upset. With both the Cardiology department front desk staff and my PCP office. I've tried to stay calm and not do this review. But, I'm fed up. I withheld yelling at anyone. But, I'm ready to hit the roof. I've been trying since August 26 the day of my appointment with Dr. Richards to get my lab results from this past June to her to review. I've called this office and my PCP back and forth to try to get this handled at least 6 times. Dr. Richards still hasn't received the labs and it Monday, Sept. 22 almost a month later. I have requested this office and my PCP simply call each other to follow up. The front desk staff at this office stated they called once only once. Where I have called myself 5 times or more. I called my PCP office 5 times or more requesting they call and all I get is they should have gotten it. Well, they sent over the wrong labs. If they had called, they could have figured out what they needed. I'm so over both offices. And, now I am forced to call each again if they don't get it. It's about time for me to redo my labs at this point. I had to do this review to prevent cussing anyone out. I feel like I've been patient enough. I love my PCP doctor and my Cardiologist. But, the front desk staff needs to get it together. The front desk staff is really sweet at my PCP and the staff seem to be nice at the Cardiologist office. But, they are dropping the ball with this matter and I'm sick of it. I do not want to call anymore about this matter.

It appears some people in the comments are leaving reviews for wrong departments. My review is for the Cardiovascular department. The cardiologists here are excellent. They're some of the best. They saved my father's life. He had to have two procedures back to back because his heart just wouldn't stabilize. The second procedure was very high risk but thanks to the great medical staff it went perfect. While we were in the waiting room during my father's procedure another family received great news that their family members made it because they only had a 5% chance of survival. The nurses and the entire staff are excellent. I do hope I never have to bring a family member here again but God forbid I do I know they will be in excellent hands. I am so grateful for each and every staff member at the Cardiovascular department

My husband just had heart bypass surgery- The doctors and the Nurses were all amazing. If it wasn't for the quick thinking staff my husband would not have survived . Having said that there is lot to be said about the after care. Nurses shortages forced them to bring nurses from other departments ,they had shortages of food pipe and did not feed him for 2-3 days . Goals of hospitals should be treat and send patients back as soon as they can. .

After I picked up my records, I'm definitely getting an attorney after visiting this hospital I've been discriminated against to the point of it becoming a lawsuit. If you have any dignity at all, do not go to dignity, they will treat you like you're less than a human being, and you will get no healthcare. They are not even an actual ER. They are a Catholic nonprofit. This is the worst joke on the planet, you are going to face suit for this one

Do not go to this hospital. I was released yesterday so anemic that my doctors told me to go back to the er. They said with my labs being as abnormal as they were and my hemoglobin at 8 they never should have let me go. Physician's assistant Cheridan Featherstone was the only one I saw but I had to have a blood transfusion today and am lucky to be alive with the condition I was checked out under. It was ethically wrong that they just wanted to get rid of me when I was having serious issues. If I would've passed away it would've been your fault. If you like living you should probably not go to this hospital. Completely reckless interpretation of my labs. Hemoglobin at 8 , creatinine 3.4 totally not normal and they could have cared less. I wonder if the reason they changed their name was because it got rid of the other bad reviews.
