He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Missouri and St. Luke's Hospital - Mid America Heart Institute in Missouri. Dr Jamal completed his Cardiology fellowship at Wright State University School of Medicine in Ohio where he served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow and Clinical Assistant Professor. My husband has coronary artery disease due to exposure to Agent Orange. He began having symptoms of heart issues, and I decided to make the drive from Prescott to Phoenix to take him to Abrazo Heart Hospital ER. We had the good fortune of having Dr. Jamal install his 4th stent. Turned out he had a major blockage in the LAD artery. My husband said Dr. Jamal and his team were the most professional team he's ever had for an angiogram/stent. He said everyone had a job and it was choreographed like a ballet - he was very impressed - and he's had in total about 14 angiograms, so he should know. Dr. Jamal is now his cardiologist. I will make the drive down the mountain for my husband to have the best care, and in our opinion, Dr. Jamal is the one who can provide that care for him.
