Love Dr Makkar who always greets me with a handshake, then jumps in to take care of my needs and health. Plenty of offices throughout Phx, that I'm able to work in reasonable followup appointments to fit my schedule.

Dr. Makkar is a miracle worker! My husband who is legally blind, was on Eliquis and Plavix, which was causing bleeding in his good eye, and he was losing more eyesight. The Cardiologists in Prescott told him they would put him on the "critical" list, but it would be at least 6 months before they could get to him to put in a Watchman. We didn't have 6 months - he would have been completely blind by then. We got an appointment with Dr. Makkar, he told the scheduler 1st cancellation we were in, and 2 weeks later my husband had the Amulet installed and immediately came off of Eliquis. His eyesight stabilized and even improved a little. My husband may need a pacemaker in the future - and we will request Dr. Makkar. Side note - my husband's heart condition is due to exposure to Agent Orange, and so was his loss of eyesight.

Dr Makkar is outstanding but his feed back is fast so you have to be prepared with your questions. He kept me informed got back to me late Saturday night after I thought I was having issues from an oblation two days ago. He gently calmed me and my wife down and I appreciate him taking the time to call us that late.
