Is this piece of trash of a doctor still telling people if they don't have the money they don't get the care , My battery will die soon and it all be because of you . You got $20,000 to change your battery. No I'm disabled I didn't ask for this so no I don't have $20,000 I just want to live but obviously you're about the money. Not being proactive. Went to this doctor because I was told he was a good doctor. I want to change my pacemaker battery and be proactive and do it early. Doctor says you got $20,000 you're not paying for it other people are paying for it. I am fully aware that I am disabled because of someone else is doing thanks for reminding me of that I'm fully disabled because of somebody else is doing thank you for reminding me of that and doctors like this are why I'm going to let this battery run dead and I will do just the same because you can't trust doctors like this that don't care about your true health they just want to line their pockets with some money. And to add this Dr obviously doesn't like someone that wants to take their own health into their own hands and manage it because you can't trust these corrupt doctors anymore cuz obviously like I just said all he wanted to do was lying his pocket not look out for my well-being.

Extremely disappointed in Dr Calplan. He has no compassion, no empathy and at this point it seems he really just doesnt care about his patients. My parents were both seeing him. Mom passed away. My dad was actually told to get into him after seeing his podiatrist because of poor circulation and a small wound on his leg and that he was having pain even walking a short distance and it wasnt where the wound was. Caplan ordered the tests, when they came back he didnt even get on the call with my dad he put his MA to do the job. He told her to have my dad see a wound specialist and he sees nothing wrong with his scan from his legs. He is diabetic so has issues already. After talking with the MA asking what a wound specilist will do she put us on hold and once again Caplan couldnt come to the "Appointment" he put her back on to say he can do nothing sees no issues and to see a wound specialist. I thankfully have a little common sense and instead got him into a vein surgeon. He had 100% blockage in 2 of the 3 main arteries in his foot, about 60% blockage behind the knee area, and 70% blockage in his thigh. The vein specialist wasnt even as prepared as to how much blockage there was and it ended up being about a 3hr surgery. I am disgusted that Caplan has no regards for caring for his patients and had we just listened and trusted him who knows what the outcome could have been. I would NEVER send or refer or suggest this dr to ANYONE! My dads first visit he told him my mom had passed(as she was his patient too) and he blew it off and said ya, its the circle of life. REALLY? You say something like that to a new widow? ZERO compassion and awful bedside manners. The fact he didnt even get on the appointment call and sent his MA to do it shows his lack of concern for his patients. Please, find someone new if you are currently with him, and if youre looking for a heart dr do NOT see him!!

This was my husband's first visit with Dr. Caplan. (Hubert J. Gallagher, Jr.) We are new to the area and my husband needed to establish himself with a Cardiologist. We are very happy that we found him and left feeling if and when we ever need him that he will be there for us.
