I've been a patient of Dr. Desai for about 5years. I first went to him after I survived 20 days in isolation fighting covid. Upon discharge I was on O2 constantly and had difficulty walking more than a few steps without breathing issues. I was told to see both a pulmonologist & a cardiologist. LUCKILY I live 2 miles from CVAM where I was scheduled to visit Dr. Desai. I'm now 71 y/o and can say he has now saved my life two times. My first visit I knew he was something special. Both as a Dr. but just as important as a person. He LISTENS to you, never rushes you. Explains in great and easily understood details what your treatment plan will be if needed. His kindness, calm demeanor and warm comforting smile all combine to give you a feeling of being cared for. And the staff surrounding him is 100% a reflection of his commitment to total customer care. He welcomes input from patients & will work within your needs and wants while proceeding with a care plan or any tests or medication options that promise to provide the best results for the patient. Just this January, after a routine follow up, he suggested having a cardio pet scan to check on my hearts status. After 3 stents & Covid he wanted to just be sure everything was ok. It wasn't, he found that a blockage in my widow maker artery had advanced to over 90% and scheduled another stent to repair it stat! I have referred family members & several friends to Dr. Desai with complete confidence. He's a great Dr., who is also humble, caring and kind.

I was a new patient and was very impressed that within a couple days they were able to get my records from my cardiologist in Missouri. And then when Dr. Desai came in to see me he had read and knew the details of those records. I was impressed that he took the time to know me before he even walked through the door. He was kind and very professional. It seems like a well organized system and I appreciate that.

Dr. Desai is an extraordinary doctor...he saw me yesterday and he came into the room with a big smile on his face. He casually sat on the edge of his desk and said "ok, what's going on?". He listened to me and looked directly at me and my daughter as we expressed the concerns I have...this was so impressive. My other cardiologist was glued to her laptop and was so cold in her response to me. An EKG was given and he said my med needed to be changed which he did and I have been scheduled for a complete cardiac work up in a couple of weeks. I felt so comfortable with him. His office staff were friendly and knowledgeable. All of my future tests will be completed at CVAM's office which is another definite plus! No Tri-City. My recommendation for Dr Desai is a 10!

I was extremely pleased with my first visit To Dr Desai. My previous cardiologist had retired So I made an appointment with Dr Desai. He reviewed my past medical history and current blood work. He took the time to listen to my concerns and discuss them with me. He then laid out a plan for some testing along with advise of what I could continue to do to help myself. Came across as caring, knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. I was very satisfied with my visit and would recommend him to anyone!
