Dr. Alphonse Ambrosia is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with expertise in coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, stroke & carotid artery disease, coronary angiography & angioplasty, carotid angioplasty & stenting, renal artery angioplasty & stenting, TEE, PFO closure, TAVI procedure and Watchman procedure. Dr. Ambrosia earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He completed his internship at Mesa General Hospital and his residency and post-doctoral fellowship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Ambrosia was awarded the AOMA Humanitarian Award in 2018, along with Top Doctor recognitions in 2012 and 2014.

I would never recommend for anyone to see this Provider. He almost killed my mother. She was a healthy 64 year old women and when he was assigned to do place stents in her arteries, it went wrong and they had to do an emergency double bypass and she was hospitalized for 6 weeks she was on a ventilator and then she had to get trached, then she contracted MRSA Pneumonia. She had to go through therapy as well after her hospital stay. She will never be herself again. She seems like she is about 80 years old now. She is only 66. I am her caretaker now. Please do not take your loved ones to this doctor.
