This review is a bit late, but here I go:
Pros:
- That a place like this exists at all is fantastic. THANK YOU for having this option available. It can take months to get a doctor's appt.
- They have a provider here who can do aspirations. My doc friend said there are some ERs who often would not have such a person available.
- They bill your insurance.
- Mostly organized & get you at the door quickly (and much quicker than most ERs)
Cons:
- It took so long to wait for crutches after the appt that we decided to purchase them elsewhere. Unfortunately, I was still charged ($74.60). I would not have known this unless I requested an itemized bill. This charge was removed after they agreed I never received the crutches. Dealing with this was a bit time consuming.
- No one told me that in order to get the lab results, I had to call the hospital. I assumed Flag B&J would share these with me.
-Creating a profile to access NAH's patient portal was time consuming and not straight-forward. They had to email me an invite to enroll, then create a profile before finally seeing my lab test results.
Summary:
I am thankful for Flag B&J and highly recommend them. The provider (Cory?) and MA/nurse were great. The company just need to work out the kinks, or at the very least, provide patients with detailed instructions on how to obtain lab test results. This would remove much frustration and guess work. Perhaps this has been done by now.

Best place to have work done on your bones. Everyone is so very kind and courteous, and experienced from the front desk to the X-ray to the nurse to the doctor. Just the very best! I have to drive 2.5 hours for treatment but it is so worth it. Please, do yourself a favor, if you have to be fixed this is the place for you.

It took a while to get in for surgery but Dr. Gorman was great. She said she could get my surgery done in November but her staff didn't send the necessary paperwork to my cardiologist until a few weeks later, which held up my surgery for an extra month. All the nurses and Medical staff were fabulous!

She is helping me heal my 6+ month old injury. It has been a long haul and she's made me feel heard and I appreciate the care she's given me. I haven't felt rushed and the bone growth stimulator has allowed the bone to grow back together. She will f/u in 2 months, her patience is appreciated.

Dr. Gorman truly listened to my concerns about not getting any relief from my foot pain. She didn't just guess what the issue was but ordered the appropriate testing to try and find the cause. She listened and offered real solutions. I did not feel rushed and for the first time, I felt heard! I loved her bedside manner and knowledge. Now I'm sending my husband to her!
