Had my yearly checkup scheduled in the beginning of September. I hadn't gotten any reminder calls/texts so the morning of the appointment I decided to call the office to confirm. Was informed that my appointment had been canceled due to the doctor retiring. They had no answers why I wasn't notified or place with another doctor. I since have called multiple times and left multiple messages and NO call back. Stay the HELL away from this doctors office as they don't care about your well being.

Time to change doctors! Dr Stevenson seems nice enough and so do the gals up front, but this practice is anything but professional. In my first visit with Dr Stevenson he mentioned that he and I have a similar calcium issue and that he immediately started taking a medication for it. I asked why wasn't I treated in the same way when he saw me 6+ years ago... he had no good answers. Possibly because his P.A. at the time was cranky and just in a hurry to get rid of me (I believe she is still there). 2 of the 3 times I came in for tests I was either made to wait excessive amount of time or, like today the machine broke and I would have to be rescheduled. They didn't tell me this until I was there. Clearly this is an issue they were aware of much early and they COULD have called me to tell me so I didn't waste an hour and a half of my busy work day for nothing. Also... the communication from and with this office is non-existent to nearly impossible. Phones? Forget trying to get anyone. Online? There is no way to communicate with them thru their website. Portal? Could not get in, after trying to reset password... the reset text never came. What a total Bleep Show Valley Heart Associates is. Run (literally) for your lives to another cardiologist!!!

My wife had an appointment and they would not review our insurance policy to properly bill it. When explained how our insurance works they gave canned answers without actually listening. When provided a link to the blue cross site they refused to even look and learn. Instead they pressured my wife into giving her card so they could overbill $200 and then when she said no they didn't not provide a refund and told her to call. She was given a number, promised they would answer and theydid not. If the office lies and attempts to rush you at the desk. I can't imagine they provide attentive and personalized care at all.

Wanted to charge me 120 bucks when my copay is 50. before they would even see me. I planned for 50 and they almost tripled it. Avoid this place. They sold their business and are now Lifetime Heart. Think twice before going to the new company too. States it is their policy to bill as much as they can before the deductible is met. My plan doesn't have deductible for visits. Just copays. Very sketchy business practices. The lady at the counter was very nice though. My previous visits over the years the nurse practitioners have always been abrasive but Dr. Stevenson was always nice. Time to find a new place.

This place is awful. Always charging exorbitant and erroneous fees. I had to call my insurance company to clarify a "new patient fee" of $150 they charged me and my insurance was baffled and had to call to sort it out with them. They lied and claimed it went towards my deductible when in fact it did not. They lie to get you to pay a ton of money out of pocket saying it goes towards your deductible. IT DOESNT. I will never be back here, it's sad because it seems a lot of their clientele is older people and they're completely taking advantage of people. Fraudulent and dishonest. Stay away from this place. Dr Stevenson it great but the place that took over is terrible. They don't even tell you about 150 charge when you make the appointment when your insurance says $50 for specialist.
