Dr. Phan is solid as the reviews mention. Unfortunately, his front desk staff are not. Last visit it took I kid you not, 5 tries to get them to print out a list of my Mom's current meds (the person at the front desk wanted to hand write them when the print out was inaccurate- uh no - I want what is in your system and I need it to be accurate). When I asked when this would all be in the system and changes communicated to the pharmacy and my Mom's residence she said just tell your Mom to stop taking medicine X. Well my Mom has Alzheimers and is in a facility with med mgmt (which I told her) - you don't just tell her to stop taking medicine X - it all goes through a system. Most recently, after 2 unreturned messages over 48 hrs, I just called (again) to try to get a consult about side effects my Mom is experiencing - whoever answered asked me if it was the Amlodopine? How would I know - that is why I'm calling to talk to a DOCTOR AND my Mom isn't even on Amlodopine. I like Dr. Phan but be prepared to be incredibly persistent and detail oriented (double check everything) - the front desk staff we have dealt with isn't on top of it and does not seem to be properly trained.

Dr Phan is a great doctor and has a wonderful bedside manner. He explained my surgery and was very positive that everything was going to be ok. He took time to answer all my questions. He's very calm and warm, he makes you comfortable and feel like everything will be ok. He always has a gentle touch and hug. If you need a heart doctor you want find one better than Dr Phan.

I waited nearly 3 weeks to get in and see Dr. Phan, all for them to call me the day before my appointment and say they needed to cancel due to Dr. Phan having to tend to an emergency surgery. I spoke with Victor, who has the personality of a fingernail, who never apologized, in which he then let me know that it would be almost a other two weeks before I come in to be seen by Dr. Phan. This is a cardiologist's office and patients can't wait that long, I'm sorry. He may be a great doctor, I'll never know, but my experience up until my appointment wasn't the greatest, so I'll be looking for another Cardiologist at this point.

What an awesome place! The scheduling staff, the nurses, and the Dr. are friendly and extremely helpful. Dr. Phan has excellent bedside manner. He took the time to explain what my husband's condition is and the steps to help treat it. He's also very funny.
