About Dr. Sumar specializes in cardiology, interventional cardiology and endovascular medicine. He is Board Certified and part of the Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Sumar was born and raised in Bombay, India. After he received his Doctorate of Medicine from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, he moved to the United States to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a cardiologist. While in New Jersey, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Hospital and then followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Seton Hall University.
