I was seen in the Emergency Department with dangerously high blood pressure. They were very efficient and polite. I got prompt attention from each staff member on my case. I spent the night while they ran the tests needed to give the information to determine the correct prognosis. The room was exceptionally clean, the food was good and the staff was friendly and prompt. I moved here from the Pensacola area. It may be a small town hospital but it stands head and shoulders above some of the hospitals in the Pensacola area. Thank you DMC!

Worst hospital ever. The H.R. Department is horrible and extremely greedy. No cameras in the building for safety. For this to be a small hospital that gets donations where is the money going? Because it's not going to pest control, employees, or healthier food options. Hence why the state stays popping up, rats founds dead in the kitchen, not to mention the big cockroaches and baby roaches throughout the building. Dietary can definitely do better with the food choices. Serving nothing but fried chicken, fried fish, fried burritos, fried greenbeans, fries, Diabetes. But they don't care, they only happy when the line is long. And they're collecting money.Quiet as it's kept your employees are tired of eating it.... Ask me how I know..... I might tell a joke , but I'll never tell a lie.... Also I can't name how many times I've come through the ER and been prescribed the wrong medicine for something that wasn't even wrong with me. They will wrongly prescribe you medicine like your a labrat.. And of course. It's to make you come back so you can rack up a bill..... That i'm never gonna pay

In regards to my most recent ER visit: I admit I would have liked for them to have seen me quicker due to my terrible migraine. When they did finally get me back there everyone treated me extremely well. Shout out to the one nurse who got my IV in on the first shot! That never happens! They prioritized my comfort and I appreciated that. Thank you to Dr. Day and his staff for taking care of me!

MARANATHA. I am concerned about my visit to ER at this facility : For the following reasons: I went there and they took care of me immediately, however, despite that I specifically explained to them, the neuropathy condition that I been having for over a year,, on the right side of my face, which got worse after my physical Therapy on that day , This happened They wrote on the discharge paper that I was there for another reason, and gave me a prescription for something that I was not treated for . And also, despite that I told them that I was allergic to a specific medication, that they were going to give me a shot of. Thank GOD , I refused it. I asked for a referral to a Neurologist, but they denied it , I told them that there was a mistake in the discharge paper report, but they said it can't be changed. And Just not to take the med they prescribed me. They were nice people, but they did not listening to what I was saying to them. And that can cause someone to lose their life, as it happened to my mother in another hospital where they refused to listen and she passed away eleven days later. It is important to listen to the patient and It is better to say I don't know then to guess a condition the patient has.
