The staff is always helpful and ready and willing to answer your questions. Dr. Malik is great. He takes the time to listen and answer all your questions without rushing. Again, he's a great doctor.

Drove 2 hours for an appointment scheduled 6 months ago. Learned that the Dr Ahmed retired at the time of the appointment. They made no attempt to inform us of the change and at the end there was no Dr available for the appointment. Drove 4 hours round trip to see a Nurse Practitioner with no notice. Disappointing and Unprofessional to the say least. No apology or explanation. They insist on charging cancellation or no show fees but have no problem treating their patients this way.

If I could post zero stars I would.. not even worth one star. The doctor, Ahmed, bardges in the room, doesn't knock first to be polite. Then when he walks in, he doesn't ask "Hello how are you doing? How have you been feeling?"... NO, he bardges in and goes straight to that computer in the corner and props his foot up on the trash can. Ignores you for the most part. He knows this patient is hard of hearing but he still talks real low, with his back turned to you and too fast to understand what he is saying. The patient has hearing aids, in a wheelchair and has lost 30 pounds since her last visit. He doesn't listen, has NO bedside manners to his patients. He interrupts you when you are trying to explain to him what you have been going through, like he doesn't care... like what he has to say is more important than answering his question to begin with. We will be looking for a different, better doctor for future needs. This is UNACCEPTABLE! If you don't care to be belittled, ignored, interrupted, or talked down to by a foreigner then this doctor is Right for you. Have a blessed day!

I went for an appointment with Dr Ahmed. My first visit (previously was a patient of Dr Rawasia) I must say neither seem to be concerned about patients issues. Dr Ahmed said a few words (didn't really discuss test results). Very impersonal- not to mention the receptionist- very rude and unprofessional - if you have an issue and need to speak with a doctor or nurse or get an appointment- the receptionist has a nasty attitude and try to determine if you need an appointment by trying to explain situations which is above her pay grade. (Definitely lack of training, knowledge and professionalism). Definitely would not recommend River Region Cardiology!!!

This practice gets 0 stars. My mom called this office to get test results from an exam she had a few weeks ago. She already said that the staff and doctors are rude and condescending. But I want to particularly point out one person by the name of Dominique who got smart with my mom because she wanted to know why it was taking so long to hear back about her test results. I had this same test done around the same time she did at another Cardiovascular office right up the street from here and been got my results back. This so called health professional was extremely rude to her and HUNG UP in her face. I am in the medical profession and know what the code of ethics are. You are in the wrong field boo. You need to quit and get out of the medical profession because you don't deserve to work with patients that are already having medical issues, especially with their heart. It's only a matter of time before you get the same treatment that you dish out when it comes to your own health. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!
