Dr. William K. Harvey, Jr. completed his Fellowship in General Cardiology at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. In 2022 at Ochsner, he received the Clinical Excellence Award. In 2023, he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and was voted Fellow of the Year by his peers. He received his Medical Degree from the University of South Alabama and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. Following his residency, Dr. Harvey was a hospitalist at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He is interested in preventive cardiology and focusing on non-invasive imaging including echo, nuclear, and cardiac CT.

My mom was the patient and was seeing another cardiologist that wasn't listening to her. The Dr. at Urgent Care referred her to Dr. Harvey and I'm so glad he did! The staff and Dr. Harvey were amazing! We didn't wait long at all. Dr. Harvey listened to my mom and ended up taking her off some medications; all the ones the other cardiologist kept throwing at her. I'm so happy she was referred to this office and will definitely refer everyone we know!
Dr. Harvey was very thorough and listened to my concerns. He explained my tests results in an understandable manner. His treatment plan was excellent and very doable.
This was my first visit with Dr Harvey, was very happy the wait time in the lobby was only a few minutes. He was very friendly and very professional He took his time to explain everything to me so that I would understand and listened to any questions that I had. He gave me suggestions on how to make everything that was going on with me to make things better, He took his time to listen to me and was not in a rush to leave the room to get to the next patient. He wanted to make sure I understood everything that what's going on with me and took the time to listen to any concerns I may have. I would highly recommend him to anyone else.
