About Dr. James D. Gladden, MD, PhD, FACC
Dr. Gladden completed nine years of extensive cardiovascular training from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology with advanced training in Structural Cardiology. Prior to his cardiovascular training, Dr. Gladden attended a dual degree program University of Alabama Medical School, UAB, where he received his Medical Doctorate (MD) degree and also a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree as part of a National Institutes of Health sponsored medical scientist training program. His undergraduate bachelor degrees are from UAB in Biomedical Engineering, BSE, and in Chemical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
