My 9-year-old was having chest pains. After an ER visit, we were told to follow up with a cardiologist. We ended up here -- and I left feeling angry, shaken, and honestly, disgusted. The doctor didn't introduce himself. Didn't say hello. Didn't even look at my son. As we walked in, he barked, "Whoa, get up on this table and lay down," like my child was an inconvenience. Then came "Take your shirt off," as he slapped monitor stickers on his chest -- still without saying a single kind or even explanatory word. He ripped the stickers off harshly, and only then did he say, "What brings you in?" I explained the chest pain. No concern. No empathy. Just cold detachment. He did a sonogram in silence, flipped the lights on, tossed a napkin at my son to clean off the gel, and said -- I kid you not -- "He's fine, nothing wrong. Any questions for me?" That was it. That was the entire "exam." My 9-year-old -- a child -- walked out and said, "Is that doctor okay?" Let that sink in. This man has no business working in pediatric care -- or frankly, in medicine at all, if this is how he treats scared families seeking answers. It felt more like we walked into a factory than a healthcare provider. Cold. Dismissive. Rushed. Dehumanizing. You get one shot to show a child that doctors are safe, that healthcare is built on compassion and trust. He shattered that in under 10 minutes. Run far, far away from this place.

Dr. Matthew Israel was the best doctor I have ever encountered! He was on time and did all of the patient care himself. He made me and my daughter very comfortable. We never felt rushed and he answered all of our questions. His office staff was very friendly. I can't say enough about the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Israel and his staff. Truly impressive.

The place is hard to find cause there are so many separate buildings that look alike . Doctor Israel is very very nice and observant , very friendly , made me feel good about what he said about my child , he was polite , and overall was just a good doctor and it was a good visit ! Definitely recommend him !

If I could give a 0 I would of gave that score . We took our 18 month old In For a heart Murmur. As soon as we got in the room he did not introduced himself he just started barking orders takeoff her shirt hold her arms down and turned out the lights she was terrified screaming the whole time he was doing the exam . Never once tried to comfort her when he was finish he just said her heart is good no more need to see a heart doctor and left the room. Horrible bedside manners and a horrible doctor I would never suggest anybody going to him thank goodness our babies heart is good because I would never ever go back to him again.

My 16 year old granddaughter saw one of the Dr. Israels on June 26, 2023. She has been having fainting spells frequently since having gallbladder surgery. She was totally brushed off. She was told that it was just anxiety and migranes. Her family doctor is concerned and not happy with the brush off either. We now have an appointment with someone in Birmingham. The girl is very sick and the doctor was uncaring. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THIS PLACE.
