Dr. Smith, his Nurse, NP and office staff go above and beyond to ensure patients get proper care and diagnosis. Dr. Smith always takes time to listen and provide any detail that concerns a patient's cardio health. The use of the Patient Portal provides ease of use and communication. Office staff are always courteous and accommodating. His Nurse, April and his NP, Hannah are empathetic and great at passing on any concerns, as necessary. Both are extremely knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend this Cardiologist for anyone who is looking to be treated professionally, rather than dismissed with any cardio concerns.

Dr. Smith is the most compassionate caring physician I have ever went to. He listens and spends time with you. Your not just a number with him, your his patient. I am so grateful he took me on as his patient. Just know the time you spend in his office is worth the wait.

Dr. Smith is a wonderful doctor and I believe he is a great person as well. I had suffered with many illnesses from the time I was born. To each I was given a "diagnosis" and treatment, but I continued to feel ill to the point of being unable to continue working. I first saw a cardiologist in MD who diagnosed me with MVP & SVT. When my overall health was continuing to decline, I saw 3 different cardiologists in Huntsville before finding Dr. Smith. After just 2-3 visits, each of which consisted of an examination and talking about my medical history, family history etc., he was able to diagnose me with something that tied together everything that I had been dealing with my entire life. He did send me to Vanderbilt for further testing to confirm the diagnosis, and he was spot on. He has always been very easy to talk to, and takes as much time as needed with me on each visit. I would recommend him to anyone. He's the only doctor that I can truly say I would completely trust with my life. He is professional yet still down to earth. He's just a great doctor all around and I highly recommend taking the time to meet with him if you are looking for a cardiologist.

He has taken time to listen to my reasons for visits, and has ordered several tests to do a thorough evaluation. When I learned there is a surgery to repair my venous reflux, he also explained that the results may not be a full recovery. He obviously cares about the patient and explains all sides of possibilities. I was referred to him by a friend that has been his patient for years. I have recommended him to another friend, who is very happy with him too.

I had trouble with my diagnosis from a heart center. Was recommended to Dr. Smith. Went to see him, he listened to me. After a few test. He agreed with me! He has kept me going since 2011. So glad I found him. He is a great person & Doctor.
