Carl. J. Gessler, Jr., MD, FACC

I saw Gessler a few years ago when I worked at HH, he was the kindest cardiologist I have ever met. Fast forward a few years and I HAD A COINCIDENTAL finding so I wanted to see Dr. Gessler again. Unfortunately with the rude text messages and a rude nurse that has no knowledge of my own professional medical background, I don't foresee myself coming to the appointment. You never ask a patient how they know something, that is for the doctor to know. As an RN you never tell a patient things are bound to happen because they were a previous smoker. I would love to put the medical journal from Harvard journals in the RN's hand that told me these specific findings would never be seen on an echo. I would love to tell the doctor himself that his RN is questioning why I would want to see him and not go back to the previous cardiologist I saw as well. Dr. Gessler is an amazing doctor from my past experience with him, but for an RN to downplay a patient that clearly is wanting to be a proactive part of their own health is more than concerning and perhaps she is in the wrong field of practice when you speak down to patients.

Love Dr Gessler and his stafff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is always on time with testing and appointments. I would highly recommend Dr Gessler, staff and office.

I have BC/BS of Alabama and have never paid anything but a co-pay . I don't believe they know how to code the billing to BC/BS.. I have never paid any more than co-pay So they are over billing !!!!

In my opinion is one of the best cardiologist in Huntsville. Has kept me healthy for 20 years.
