Heart Health Center: William H Heaton MD, FACC

Rarely do my calls get answered when I call. If they do they don't get returned when leaving a message w/Dr's nurse. 2 weeks in a row they have called to reschedule my appointment due to ultra Sound machine being down. Both times told that the lady who runs it , repairs it. Today my appointment was pushed out again but this time almost 2 months away. Was supposed to check anyerism on heart to see if I was going to need open heart surgery, Very disappointed with no one returning the 3 messages left I left a week ago. Guess I'll be looking for a new heart Dr now.

Dr Heaton is a good doctor but you should be prepared to sit in the office for hours. I have been seen as many as 3 hours after my scheduled appointment. My time is as valuable to me as his is to him. They are bad about moving you from one room to another for some reason.

My 94 year old mother in law had a heart attack in November of 2022. She saw Dr Heaton shortly after arriving at NAMC. He recommended opening her blockage with a stent. He has been so kind and treated her with great respect and care. Life is precious at any age and we appreciate him taking such good care of her. She is back at home and taking great care of herself with very little help!

Told us when my grandmother had a heart attack don't thank God thank me!
