Dr.Gilliam took great care of my son on the 4th floor! She was absolutely amazing! Along with Sam from respiratory he is (awesome)! They both went above & beyond to make for sure he was improving before sending him home. Also I can't remember the young lady name that took him back quickly but she was amazing also. She has a beautiful voice and was singing my favorite Mariah Carey song lol. She also stopped by to see how he was doing before he was moved to the fourth floor. She checked his breathing and temperature I said I'm going to take him back now! The two ladies ( that were er doctors) and the guy that was his er nurse all amazing. Me and family greatly appreciate the service and care my son received.

I had an outpatient surgical procedure this week at Thomas in Fairhope with Dr. Hude. From the phone call answered by Daryl, who directed me to the correct parking and entrance, to the time I was escorted to the car, I had first-class customer service and staff. My nurse, Beverly Langer, was exceptional. The other team members who worked with her were equally wonderful. The nurse in recovery, Terry, I hope this is correct, was a delight. He was very patient and made me feel very comfortable. He also provided me with a few great laughs, which is a nice relief in a stressful situation. The two volunteers in the waiting area were also helpful, even though neither of them volunteered to have the surgery for me :)
I would highly recommend the Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. Thanks to the outpatient surgery center for making a stressful day much better by providing great customer service and care!

We were on vacation and my husband needed to go to the ER. Im from the area and Thomas Hospital was the only one I really knew of. The experience we had was over the top. Cristi Vaughn and Elizabeth Michon were so friendly and kind hearted. Made us feel like they have known us forever. They both took such great care of my husband. If we didn't live seven hours away we would definitely use this hospital. On a different note. I was born there so I have a special spot for this place. When my dad had his stroke many years ago, the staff was so kind and loving. I highly recommend Thomas Hospital.

Four days ago, I was admitted to the hospital through the emergency room.
After two surgeries and three dialysis treatments, I am being discharged from the hospital.
The medical staff here are superior. The doctors, nurses, and technicians take wonderful care of the patients.
The emergency room floor as you would expect was always very busy. But they were never too busy to help regardless if they were assigned to you or not. All I had to do was ask and somebody helped me.
One time I stopped a person walking by and asked if they could get me some food. She turned around and came back in a couple minutes with a really nice snack lunch. I found out later, she was a doctor that was just helping a patient. Probably not her job to get food for a patient, but she didn't blink an eye and soon returned with the food that I requested. Thanks Doc!
I ended up on the second floor for most of my stay after the first surgery. Once again, the staff, including all the nurses and the technicians were wonderful.
Morgan was my favorite nurse during the night shift. She truly cares for her patients and often would sit and talk and listen to whatever I had to talk about. She's a real champ of a nurse.
I spent three sessions getting dialysis. The technicians and doctors that work in that clinic are wonderful. By far this was the most enjoyable hemodialysis I've ever experienced. They were fun to talk with, to joke, and very professional along with full of knowledge. I wish I could come back three times a week and have my treatments done at that clinic.
Thank you again for making a miserable infection that didn't take my life. You are all heroes.

I had my baby here on 11/4/25 at 34 weeks which meant she had to spend some time in the special care nursery. I was terrified of what it meant for my baby having her early, but every single person we encountered here during our 14 days was heaven sent. No one wants to have to leave their baby in the NICU, but the L&D nurses, post partum nurses, nursery nurses, neonatologists, nurse practitioners, housekeeping staff, etc were all so wonderful that it made us feel more at ease and confident in our baby girl's stay and recovery. I know I'm missing some names and I'm so sorry for that but I just wanted to say thank you so much for the hardwork and dedication of Becky(nursery nurse), Margaret (nursery nurse), Leigh (nursery nurse), Mallory(nursery nurse), Danielle (nursery nurse), Paula (nursery nurse), Madison (nursery nurse), Jamie (nursery nurse), Crystal (nursery nurse), Tracy (nursery nurse), Lindsey (nursery nurse), Julie (L&D nurse), Jessica (L&D/post partum), Meachie (post partum nurse), Sujata (post partum nurse), Skylar (L&D nurse), Katie (nursery nurse), Nikki (post partum), Christie (housekeeping), Tammy (housekeeping), Kristi (NP), Shelly (NP), Dr. Powers, Dr Knutson, and Haley (NP). All of these people saw me breakdown so many times just wanting my baby to be okay and they made sure that she was and that I was too. We've been home one week and will be forever greatful to the whole team at Thomas Birth Center.
