My dad had congestive heart failure for years. He had a few ablations done.When he had his last one my dads ejection fraction was down to 16 percent . He was in his 80s. When my dad signed the consent Dr Smith should have explained to him he was at very high risk. ( due to significantly low ejection fraction). Dr Smith with his supposed "extensive medical background "should have told my dad this.. he didn't. He died shortly after the procedure. It was a money hungry doctor that took my dad's life. We buried him a few days later. We took him off life support . I am a RN. I kept telling the staff in recovery room something wasn't right. They finally called the stroke team. The anesthesiologist told me Dr Smith would be in soon right after the procedure. He never showed up. He knew he messed up. Don't ever use Grandview or Dr Macy Smoth.
