Dr Tom Eagan is an extraordinarily well trained and skilled cardiologist with an extensive background in Invasive and Interventional Cardiac, Peripheral Vascular, and Venous Interventions. He is a UAB trained physician who then proceeded to gain advanced skills at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA and the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, AZ. Dr Eagan has extensive research experience and has participated in a large number of cutting edge clinical trials and has been published in many articles and publications. Dr Eagan joined the private practice of CVA in 1994.

A professional environment runs extremely efficiently the waiting is large enough with plenty of setting. The wait is always moving efficiently around 10 minute or less wait time based on my experience. The testing always done in the same cordial environment. Wait time moves about the same as for an office visit. The personal from check in to end are professional courtesy and kind. The nurses are professional knowledgeable kind and helpful and l rate their job as a ten. The Drs my wife and I have encountered are to us the very best in their profession. Our Doctor, Dr.Thomas Eagan I myself has been under his care since 2007 and my wife also is under his care. He affords his patients time to explain their problems to him and he answer in layman's terminology so you understand his course of action concerning our healthcare and what to expect. With this being said my wife and I highly recommend Dr Eagan and CVA Associates and Brookwood Baptist Heath in Birmingham.

Dr. John Eagan Jr. at CVA is one of the most personable, intelligent and professional heart doctors in the Birmingham, Alabama area. He is my husband's doctor also. I saw Dr Eagan yesterday. He and his nurse Jamie, communicate so well with the patient. They listen and immediately take action. I had somethings that concerned me and before I walked out of that office..I was being sent for tests to check these issues out. They happened immediately one after the other. No scheduling to return days later. What an impressive doctor, practice and hospital group!!!
