Dr. Chad Colon is a board-certified electrophysiologist with Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology in Birmingham, Alabama. His specialties include cardiac electrophysiology, atrial fibrillation, left atrial appendage occlusion, atrial flutter, conduction system disorders, cardiac device implantation and management, cardiac device extraction, and supraventricular tachycardias. Dr. Colon received a bachelor's degree in biology and his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He completed his cardiovascular disease residency and fellowship, as well as a fellowship in electrophysiology disease at UAB. Dr. Colon is certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr Colin was prompt, reviewed my records, openly discussed test results, asked for my feedback and gave good advice. Very knowledgeable and professional. BONUS - I was able to see him close to home and work, rather than having to drive WAY up North to that crazy cardiovascular office near Cracker Barrel. I didn't need to take half a day off from work traveling through rush hour traffic. Very pleased!!

I have been a CVA patient for many years now. They are wonderful to deal with. Everyone is always informative and effcient. Cheerful and nice helps too. I have always felt I was getting the best care, advice and service. I would strongly recommend CVA to anyone with heart issues. I would suggest a visit and evaluation at least by age 50 or before if heart issues run in your family.
