Dr Walker is among the very best. Always takes the time to listen and respond to concerns. Doesn't just try to throw another pill at you, but really wants to help you resolve your issues. The office staff is friendly and helpful as well. They have an extremely efficient and effective routine to get you seen and out the door all without feeling rushed.
I met Dr. Walker when I was hospitalized in the ICU. She had studied the scans and tests thoroughly before talking with me. She explained the situation clearly and easily understood and outlined her recommendations for follow-up. The staff at the Heart Center was friendly and helpful. After an exam and update, the nurse practitioner made sure that appointments were made before I left.
I've been seeing Dr. Walker and her NP for a few months now and they are amazing. The only issue is the wait time, once I'm called back it normally takes about an hr before I see the NP, but I dont plan anything for the day I go just in case. But the care is top notch and they are very thorough in checking everything. I highly recommend them.
